The short version
You have 14 days from the date of purchase to ask for a full refund of an UnHTML Pro or Studio licence. Email support@unhtml.pro, tell us the email address you bought with, and we will approve it.
You do not have to justify the request. "It did not convert my page well enough" is a perfectly good reason, and so is "I changed my mind".
There is nothing to cancel. UnHTML is a one-time purchase with no subscription, so a refund is the only thing that ever needs asking for.
Paddle processes the refund, not us
UnHTML is sold through Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and authorised reseller for the purchase. Paddle took the payment, and Paddle issues the refund.
Two practical consequences:
- The refund appears on your statement from Paddle, matching the original charge, not from Ievgeniia Onokhova or from UnHTML. If you are scanning your statement for our name, you will not find it.
- Paddle's Refund Policy and Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase alongside this page.
You are welcome to contact Paddle directly instead of us, and Paddle's own buyer support can handle a refund request without us being involved. Coming to us first is usually quicker, because we can confirm the purchase and approve it on the spot.
How to request one
Email support@unhtml.pro with:
- the email address you used at checkout, so we can find the order;
- your licence key, if you have it to hand, which speeds things up but is not required;
- optionally, what went wrong. You do not owe us a reason, but if something failed on a page you tried to import, telling us is often how it gets fixed.
We aim to reply within one business day.
If you are in the EU, EEA, Switzerland or the UK
Consumer law in these places gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal on a digital purchase, on top of anything a seller offers voluntarily. There is a catch in that law worth understanding, and then the reason it does not matter much here.
The catch: for digital content delivered immediately, that statutory right can lapse once you have agreed to immediate delivery and started using the product. Because a licence key is issued and usable straight after checkout, a strict reading means the statutory right may no longer be available to you once you have activated UnHTML.
Our own 14-day refund window applies whether or not the statutory right still does. Activating UnHTML, entering your key, and importing pages with it do not cost you your refund. If you are inside 14 days, you get your money back, and it makes no difference how much you used it.
We say this plainly because the alternative is a policy that technically permits a refund and then argues you forfeited it by opening the product. That would be a poor way to treat someone who is asking for help.
None of this reduces the statutory rights you do have. Where the law gives you a stronger right than this page does, the law applies.
What happens to your licence key
A refund ends the licence. When it is processed:
- your licence key is revoked, and every seat on it is released;
- the plugin returns to the free version the next time it checks the key, which is within about 7 days, and sooner if you reopen it;
- the free version keeps working, with its 500-layer cap;
- anything you already made stays yours. Figma files, frames and layers produced by an import are unaffected, and we cannot and would not reach into them.
Please stop using the paid features once a refund is issued. Continuing to work around a revoked key is a breach of the terms.
How long it takes
We normally approve a request within one business day of receiving it.
After approval, Paddle returns the money to the payment method you used, where that is possible. Paddle's policy is to process an approved refund within 14 days. In practice card refunds are usually much faster than that, though how quickly it shows on your statement is up to your bank rather than Paddle or us.
After 14 days
Once the window has passed we are no longer promising a refund, but do write to us anyway if something has gone wrong. If UnHTML is broken, or if you were charged twice, or if a licence key never reached you, we will sort it out regardless of the date. A policy exists to tell you where you stand, not to give us a reason to stop reading.
We may decline a request where a licence has been revoked for breach of the terms, for example a key shared publicly or used well beyond the seats it covers, or where a refund is being requested repeatedly on new purchases of the same product.
Please ask before starting a chargeback
If you ask your bank to reverse the charge instead of asking us, it takes weeks, it costs everyone fees, and the licence gets revoked automatically as part of the process. Emailing us is faster for you and easier on a one-person business. We have not yet refused a refund inside the window, and we would rather resolve it directly.
